Newcastle based Cyclone MMA teaches several styles of martial art to equip the fighter in every range. Our stand up system is Chinese Boxing a system in practice most similar in application to pre Queensbury rules boxing with elements of clinch work aswell as a low stance suited to powerful punching and stopping takedown attempts. Our wrestling blends the close range “dirty boxing” of our Chu Sau Lei family Wing Chun and elements of Greco Roman and Catch Wrestling. Finally on the floor we use Old School Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practicing in both the Gi and without.
